Reverence is noticing all of life and respecting the One Force that pulses in all Beings.
When we recognize that everything breathes with consciousness, then even a rock deserves the same respect as your fellow human being. Walk this earth with reverence and do not kick stones away from their home. If you must pick a rose, bow to it and ask if the bush wants to share its beauty.
When you come to respect your own uniqueness, you will stand at awe, admiring the endless variety that nature creates. The colors of the butterfly, the hiss of the snake, and the roar of thunder all come from the One Artist.
Human life is so fragile when we face forces of nature. We must recognize life and death as two seasons of existence that the One Force grants. That is reverence.
Send good wishes to loved ones who have passed; send them good prayers wherever they might be. Reverence lacks words, so resting your tongue while sending love is powerful.
The state of reverence is not a mood, it is a way of life–like gratitude. Reverence is quietly private and nobody’s business. Maintaining reverence and gratitude is a vow between you and the Force that breathes within you.
Today, I realize that I am One with The Force, as is all of life..
With gratitude for the Grace bestowed on my unique life, I vow to respect all of life which has arisen from the same Grace..
